Location: grocery shop about 100 m, lake shore about 500 m, Menaggio about 7 km, Como about 43 km, Milan about 91 km, Lugano (Switzerland) about 35 km
 
A traditional 4-storey farm dwelling from the eighteenth century, in the historic centre of the medieval hamlet of Masténa, in the municipality of San Siro on the western shore of Lake Como. A quiet location above the lake, with panoramic lake views, and an ideal starting point for hikes, excursions and tours of the entire Lake Como area. Following extensive renovation and restoration works that were completed in March 2010, five spacious apartments of various sizes have been created, some with private garden area and some with balcony. The furnishings are functional, modern and comfortable. The property is accessible only on foot over the typical narrow, pebble-stone paved streets; public parking is available about 100-150 metres away. Transport of luggage on arrival and departure can be arranged if necessary.

Ground floor: entrance from small lane beside the house: 3 steps lead to a living-room / kitchen-diner with exit to private garden area in front of the house which is furnished for dining; stairs to the upper ground floor: living room (connecting room) with double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet. This apartment can be joined via an internal door to the apartment ‘Sorella’ and rented as ‘Amarela 6’. Lake view from apartment and garden.
Sorella - apartment - about 75 m˛, sleeps 4 + 2
Entrance onto the upper ground floor from a small lane in front of the house, shared with the other 4 apartments. Staircase to the private, furnished garden area, from where there is access into a large living / dining room with double sofa bed on the ground floor; from here, there are stairs to the upper ground floor: one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet. This apartment can be joined via an internal door to the apartment ‘Pescatore’ and rented as ‘Amarela 6’. Lake view from apartment and garden.
Amarela 6 - apartment - about 130 m˛, sleeps 6+4
The two apartments Pescatore and Sorella together (see descriptions of each), connected by an interior door on the ground floor.
Affresco - apartment - about 55 m˛, sleeps 2 + 2
Entrance onto the upper ground floor from a small lane in front of the house, shared with the other 4 apartments. Shared staircase to the first floor: entrance into large living / kitchen / dining room with double sofa bed and access to balcony with lake view, double bedroom with access to balcony, bathroom with shower and toilet.
Lilla – studio apartment - about 35 m˛, sleeps 2
Entrance onto the upper ground floor from a small lane in front of the house, shared with the other 4 apartments. From here a shared staircase leads to the 2nd floor. Entrance into large bed-sitting room with kitchen area, with fitted wardrobe and double sofa bed, dressing / wardrobe area, bathroom with shower and toilet.
Portico - apartment - about 55 m˛, sleeps 2 + 2
Entrance onto the upper ground floor from a small lane in front of the house, shared with the other 4 apartments. From here a shared staircase leads to the 2nd floor: entrance with stairs to the loft, where there is a large living-dining room with kitchen area and double sofa bed and access to 2 small balconies, a double bedroom with access to small balcony, bathroom with shower and toilet.
